Plastic Pollution and Plastic Solutions: Town Efforts on Plastic and What to Do About Plastics at Home? In-Person

This event takes place off site at Curtis Memorial Library at 23 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.

No question, plastic is a useful material, but it poses serious pollution problems.  Does this bother you?  Learn about the plastic challenges we face from four local experts.  Come to both events, as the content and expert speakers for each evening will differ.  This two-part program will take place in Brunswick (Oct. 30th at 6pm) and in Bath (Nov. 5th at 5pm).

Presenters are Mariel Geiger of the Surfriders Portland Chapter, Vanessa Berry, Sustainability Programs Manager of the Natural Resources Council of Maine, Megan Mansfield-Prior, At Large Bath City Counselor, and Bea Johnson, EcoMaine Environmental Educator.

The paired events are co-sponsored by First Parish Church of Brunswick, The Neighborhood UCC of Bath, Curtis Memorial Library of Brunswick and Patten Free Library of Bath.
