CANCELLED: Citizen Science Summer: Bugwatch! In-Person
Due to weather, Bugwatch is cancelled for today. See you next week!
Join us this summer as we prepare a weekly picnic for ants and check in with our local bees to confirm they are not zombies. Our weekly Bugwatch program will meet Thursdays at 3pm in the Teen Space and head outside to set up our picnic for our six-legged friends. We will then watch the behavior of bees to make sure they haven’t been parasitized by Zombie flies.
Both Ant Picnic and Zombee Watch are citizen science projects so we will count and identify our species and then pass any data we collect along to the entomologists who run the studies.
