Repair Café In-Person
Why replace when you can repair? Our expert volunteers will help repair your electronics, lamps, furniture, jewelry and small appliances; mend clothing, and sharpen tools. Volunteers on 3/30 include experts in knife sharpening, leather repair, chairs, lamps, jewelry, electronics, mechanical items, sewing, and woodworking.
If we are unable to repair your item we will make suggestions on where you can find the parts and learn how to do the repair or have it professionally repaired. This is a first come, first served program and depending on the turnout we can’t guarantee we will be able to help everyone or repair every item. Please bring your items with you to the library.
Presented in partnership with the Curtis Memorial Library and Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Repair Café will rotate between the three locations.
Our goal is to help our community learn how simple many repairs can be and that their are local experts within our community willing to help. If you have any questions or if there is something you would like repaired but don't know if we can help at the repair cafe please call Curtis Memorial Library at 725-5242 ext 4.
